Despite the large number of Korean students in the Indiana University Bloomington campus, it is an unfortunate fact that Koreans are underrepresented. In response to this, six dedicated Korean students decided to form a club to represent Korean culture and help those who are trying to learn the Korea language. The Korean Conversation Club (KCC) started its activities in the spring semester of 2005 and has been recognized by the IU International Center as one of the cultural organizations. Supervised by Professor Hyo Sang Lee of the East Asian Studies Department, the KCC holds regular meetings at the Leo Dowling International Center every Thuesday at 7pm. Activities include Korean free-talking, playing traditional Korean games and learning about the Korean culture in general. For anyone who is interested in learning Korean or the Korean culture, the KCC welcomes you to the Leo Dowling International Center on 111 S. Jordan Ave every Thuesday night!
